ANGELINA’S STORY

Angelina was a strong and resolute woman who, relying on her strength alone, was able to carry on an entire family, handing down the art of hospitality from generation to generation.

The summers spent in Farigliano have helped to make these houses one of Giovanni’s heart places. For this reason - together with his wife Ivana – he decided to complete the renovation of the property already started by his parents, transforming it from a small reality to an accommodation facility, equipped with every kind of comfort, but always safeguarding the historical imprint of all the premises.

OUR HOSPITALITY

Our desire is letting our guests feel the thrill of living in a small village, experiencing tradition in the narrow streets and alleys of the historic heart of the city, quiet and comfortable at the same time. All services and shops - coffee, restaurant, bakery, butcher and delicatessen, pharmacies, bank, post office - are located within a few meters of the property and can be easily reached on foot, without parking and transferring issues.

FARIGLIANO

Farigliano is a small town counting about 1,700 inhabitants, divided between the centre and some hamlets rising to 600m above sea level. The Tanaro river flows through its territory, flanked by high white ravines alternating with a luxuriant countryside, mainly cultivated with vineyards and hazelnut orchards.
In the hilly area the famous vineyards dominate, from which fine wines are produced, such as Dogliani, Dolcetto, Nebbiolo, Barbera, to name a few. These hills are capable to stand out the horizon with a continuous play of colours, enchanting every observer.
The village position is central to several renowned itineraries and areas recently recognized by UNESCO. Few kilometres and you can reach Barolo, Monforte, Barbaresco, Alba and Serralunga: all centres of great and well-known wine production (Barolo, Barbaresco - both produced from Nebbiolo grapes - and Alta Langa).
Countless historical itineraries with castles and monumental areas of great artistic value are also remarkable, together with those dedicated to sport: cycling, running, golf, tennis… surrounded by a frame of enchanting woods and colourful vineyards.
